The Zebras came out ready to play against a talented BBN squad. The game was back and forth in the first half with both teams earning opportunities, but BBN edged Middlesex in shots and corners earned, 4-1. 12 minutes into the half, BBN scored on a well-executed corner to take the lead. Refusing to give in, the Zebras came roaring back in the latter minutes of the second half and with 3:33 remaining, freshman Cristina Bevacqua put the ball past the keeper with the help of Siobhan Morrissey and Stella Noels on the corner.
The second half was very even, and goalie Isabella Costantino stopped several shots while Dahlia Galante earned a defensive save, her ninth of the season. The game went into overtime, and the Zebras ate the clock in the first 30 seconds on account of a lingering penalty from regulation. After the teams were even, the play went back and forth in an exciting and exhausting overtime battle. The clock dwindled and both teams settled for a tie after a hard fought match played by both teams.
