Middlesex traveled to rival Thayer Academy for another ISL battle.  The game proved even initially, with both teams notching goals and making solid defensive plays.  As the first half progressed, however, Middlesex earned more possession minutes and took a 5-3 lead with just seconds left in the half.  The Zebras were not quite finished, however, as they notched two goals in just five seconds to close the half with a four goal lead.  In the second half, the Zebras were stellar at both ends of the field, allowing just three goals and scoring ten in the first 23 minutes of play.  While Thayerscored two in the final two minutes, the Zebras still walked away with a hard fought team win.  Nine different players scored for Middlesex and nine goals were assisted in the 17-8 rout.  The Zebras will look to refine both the attack and defense in the next two days as they prepare for Lawrence Academy on Wednesday, April 27th.
