The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis team lost its match against Thayer 3 - 12 on our home courts Saturday. The weather threatened to push us inside, but as luck would have it, the day turned around, the sun came out, and the courts dried with plenty of time for the match to be played outdoors. 

Sophomore Helen Lasry swept both of her sets at #4 singles (6 - 4, 6 - 4), putting her team on the board. She kept up the positive momentum in her #2 doubles set with partner Caroline Reynolds ('17). They worked together to play an aggressive match and won the set decisively (8 - 5).

The girls will put in two practices before facing Lawrence Academy Wednesday here at home.
