Middlesex Girls Varsity Ice Hockey hosted ISL rival Thayer Academy Saturday afternoon. The visitors went up 1-0 during the first period and scored again in the second for a two goal lead. Middlesex came out for the third period flying as freshman Kylie Quinlan received a pass from junior Jac White to split the defense and Quinlan buried the shot to bring the Zebras to within one. With a minute to play MX pulled their goaltender for the extra skater but were unable to convert. The girls return to the ice at home on Wednesday against Groton at 3:00PM.
