Middlesex traveled to historic ISL rival Brooks school for a night game. The Zebras were focused and ready, despite the roaring Brooks fans attending during Homecoming. Although Brooks maintained possession for much of the first ten minutes, the Zebras played steadily and defensively thwarted the Bishop offensive attack. Inspired by the steadfast play of goalie Cece DeSimone, the defense began connecting with the midfielders and forward line, creating opportunities for the Zebras. As the first half time expired, the Zebras fired several shots on the Brooks goalie, hit the post, and just nearly missed the cage. It was clear that the Zebras were on a mission as they stepped onto the field confidently in the second half. Just five minutes into the half, the Zebras converted on a corner and notched the eventual game winner. With continued pressure on the Brooks defense, the Zebras controlled much of the second half. Brooks' final surge in the last two minutes was stopped thanks to the gritty defensive unit and the Zebras remained on top.
