Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey notched their second win of the weekend with a 5-3 victory over visiting Newton Country Day. Senior captain Madeleine Coleman struck first to give the Zebras a 1-0 lead. Newton tied it up before Coleman buried her second shot of the day on an MX powerplay for the 2-1 lead. Newton continued to hang around, tying it up 2-2. Junior Sage Nye chased down a dump in and scored on a wrap around to once again give Middlesex the lead. In the third period Jac White '17 scored bar down and then again late in the third period to secure the win. Senior goaltender Katie Lovell made 15 saves in net for the Zebras.
