Middlesex Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey traveled to ISL foe Governor's Academy Saturday afternoon. In a game laden with penalties, the Zebras took a 1-0 lead off a slapshot by junior Sage Nye, assisted by senior Madeleine Coleman in the first period. Governor's evened the score early in the second period and both teams played special teams for the remaining time. Junior Jacqueline White regained the lead for the Zebras with 4:05 to play in the second off a rebound on a shot by sophomore Itsy Seeman  Middlesex killed off three powerplays in the third by the hosts and went on to win 2-1.
