The Zebras prevailed in an offensive battle on their home turf.  With crisp passing and smart play between the 25 yard lines, the Middlesex squad created several scoring opportunities from the opening whistle.  Captain Hannah Saghir set up the first goal in the opening minutes and the Zebras continued to feed each other up in front of the net, resulting in four more goals.  Tabor snuck a goal past the Zebra defensive unit in the remaining three minutes to close out the half. 

Middlesex came out firing in the second half and maintained pressure on the Tabor defense, but the Seawolves matched the intensity as each team notched three tallies.  The Middlesex midfielders were relentless at both ends of the field and six young players earned several minutes of playing time, debuting their solid varsity level play.  The team looks forward to their first ISL match at St. Mark's on Sept. 26.
