The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis were again outmatched by a star lineup on the Milton team. The Zebras lost 0 - 15 home in what was the toughest opponent they have faced yet this season. Despite the loss, our team played some of their best tennis yet against last year's ISL and NEPSAC Class A title champion.

At #1 singles, freshman Leyla Hotamisligil was up against the #2 ranked player in Massachusetts and #6 in New England. Ever determined, Leyla played out of her mind in the first set and was even ahead at one point. Unfortunately, she lost her lead as well as the set 4 - 6. Everyone else scored at least one game on each of their opponents with many well constructed points that the final results do not show.

The team will put in two days of hard and focused practice before taking on Thayer Academy on Saturday.
