Middlesex Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over Newton Country Day on Friday evening. The Zebras took a 1-0 lead in the first as senior Leah Olson scored 5:49 into the first period. Siobhan Morrissey '18 and Katie Powers '18 were credited with the assists. The visitors took a 2-1 lead in the second period but Middlesex came out strong in the third, as Caelin Flaherty '18 scored twice and Olson scored her second for some insurance and the victory, 4-2.
