Middlesex Varsity Field Hockey was edged in the 4th overtime shootout to Williston Northampton school, 3-2 in the NEPSAC Class B Championship game on Sunday afternoon in Pomfret, Conn. The Zebras battled back from a 1-0 deficit at the half to go ahead 2-1 but Williston tied it up with 8:30 to play in the second half. After two scoreless overtimes of 7v7 play, Middlesex fell in the second round of the sudden-victory shootout.
