The Zebras traveled to Milton Academy to play one of two grass games this season. While the team practiced on grass in preparation, it still took some time for Middlesex adjust to the slower paced game. However, 17 minutes into the game, Claire Miller tipped in a shot by Emma Fehnel to take the lead. The game went back and forth between the two 25 yard lines, which each goalie making only three saves in the first half. In the second half, Milton notched their first goal just three minutes into play, setting the Zebras back on their heels for a few moments. The team bounced back, however, and won several 50/50 battles as the half progressed. In overtime, Milton broke through the defense, and ended the game with a 2-1 overtime win. The Zebras will look to rebound against Lawrence at home on Wednesday.
