The boys' varsity lacrosse team traveled to Cambridge, MA
on Saturday to play an athletic BB&N team.
As seems to be our recent MO, we got down 0-2 after a couple of nice shots by the Knights' players, at which point, we figured out their zone and scored four of our own. In the second quarter, we tallied three more to go into halftime up 7-3.
However, despite what the final 11-5 score may suggest, the lead never felt comfortable. As the time ticked away on the clock, we were able to keep the Knights' scoring opportunities at bay for the remaining quarter to come away with the win.
James Burr again provided the offensive push with four goals and two assists, while Sam Carlin was great at the face off x again.
The final four games of the season will be a challenge, beginning with Brooks on our home field on Wednesday, May 14 at 3:00pm.
