It was a chilly, overcast day when St. Mark's came to play Middlesex on our home courts. Although it was St. Mark's day, beating the Zebras 8 - 7, all girls put forth a good effort in their matches.
A seasoned competitive player with consistent overall game, senior Charlotte Flint won both of her singles sets at #2. At #4, sophomore Abby Myers split sets with her opponent in a suspenseful match up. Freshman Caroline Reynolds showed off her athleticism and competitiveness as the match wore on at #6. While she lost her first set in a tie break, she came back to win the second set 6-3. Middlesex showed off their collaborative strategy and teamwork as they took all three doubles points.
Middlesex looks forward to its next match against St. Paul's on Wednesday, April 9 at 3:00pm in Concord, NH.
