The Zebras traveled to St. George's today for the final game of the season. Middlesex set the tempo immediately, maintaining possession in the Dragons' defensive end. However, the Zebras had difficulty with the grass surface as it slowed down their trademark passing game. Forced to commit to a "bump and run" style, the Zebras adjusted and relied on heart, teamwork and athleticism to transfer the ball down the field.  After several opportunities, The Zebras capitalized on a scramble in front of the net as Ellie Herring scored the game winner with 10:11 remaining. The defensive unit denied all Dragon opportunities in the final minutes to preserve the win. Seniors Charlotte Livingston, Pennie Herring, Claire Miller, Leah Olson, Ali Corkran and Jenna Doherty played a great game in their final match.

Despite unforeseen injuries and youth, the Zebras rallied to finish 5-5-2 in the league. The team will miss the seniors, and also look forward to bringing back a core group for the 2015 season. Â
