In just their second game of the season with a consistent line-up, the Zebras came out on a mission as they faced BB&N. From the first whistle, Middlesex controlled the game, dazzling the crowd with several passing sequences, transitions, and grit. Within the first five minutes, freshman Stella Noels set up Claire Miller for the first goal. Two minutes later, Jenna Doherty redirected a rocket shot from Emma Fehnel and Miller again helped it over the goal line. Miller struck again when freshman Caelin Flaherty crossed the ball from the end line. Noels and sophomores Katharine French and Sage Nye had near misses on the cage and the defensive unit stymied the BB&N offense.
In the second half, several players showcased the skills and hard work they have put in this season. It was an entire team effort today and the Zebras will look forward to preparing for their final game against St. George's.
