Middlesex traveled to Brooks' new turf field for another epic battle. The Zebras dominated possession in the first twenty minutes of play, and with 13 minutes remaining in the half, the corner team scored to take a 1-0 lead. Middlesex continued to pressure the Brooks midfielders, but couldn't notch another goal in the half. In the second half, Brooks came out with more intensity, creating more goal scoring opportunities, and the fast forward line broke through the defense in the 8th minutes and touched the ball past Olson for the tying goal. The play went back and forth in the next twenty minutes, and the Middlesex defensive corner unit made two key stops after the time had expired. In overtime, both teams played relentlessly, however Middlesex had a few more opportunities. As the time dwindled, both teams fought through fatigue, but neither could finish the play resulting in a tie.
