The Zebras traveled to Thayer Academy to face a Class B ISL rival.  Middlesex was a bit sluggish out of the gates as Thayer gained momentum in the Zebra defensive end.  Jenna Doherty and Sage Nye were tireless in the defensive end, thwarting Thayer's offensive drive and protecting goalie Leah Olson.  Emma Fehnel had several good touches on the ball and Charlotte Livingston broke up several key plays on the left side of the field.

  
In the second half, Thayer continued to pressure the Zebras, but few scoring opportunities emerged.  With just 30 seconds left in regulation, a Middlesex player was fouled from behind in a clear breakaway situation and a penalty stroke was awarded to the Zebras with just 22 seconds remaining in the match.  Fehnel stepped up to the line and buried the shot for the Middlesex victory.
