The Middlesex boys' varsity lacrosse team got off to a strong start on Saturday, controlling the ball in the middle of the field and capitalizing on the opportunities on offense. The Zebras led 3-1 after one quarter and 9-3 at halftime.
Groton came out of the gates ready to play in the second half but Middlesex had built up enough cushion to get lots of players in the game and preserve the 13-8 win.
The Zebras will look to build upon the momentum that they gained with this victory to help them prepare for Roxbury Latin on Wednesday.
