The Zebras returned to league play today in a Class B match-up at BBN.
The Zebras controlled the play in the first half, taking 11 shots on goal to BBN's two. Middlesex found the back of the net nine minutes into the half when Caelin '17 tipped in a shot from the top of the circle. The Zebras notched two more beautiful goals in the first half to take a decisive 3-0 lead going into the break.
Middlesex continued to stay on top in the second stanza with outstanding passing sequences and were able to notch one more goal against the Knights. BBN came roaring back however, and with less than six minutes in the game, they began their scoring spree. The Zebras were caught off guard as the Knights notched three goals in less than four minutes to bring the deficit to one. In the final two minutes, Middlesex responded and nearly scored a fifth goal. but the time dwindled.
Although the Zebras had a tough few minutes of play, they secured the win and will look forward to their final regular season game against St. George's on Saturday at 2:00pm.
