The Zebras traveled to nearby Lawrence Academy on a beautiful fall day. It took the Middlesex team some time to adjust to the grass surface, but they eventually properly utilized their "bump and run" game to bring the ball down the field.
The Zebras began peppering the goalie with shots, but it wasn't until 15:46 remaining in the first half when Middlesex notched their first goal. The Zebras scored again, but the goal was called back due to the height of the shot. In response to the called back goal, the team notched the next goal with 4:06 remaining to take the 2-0 lead.
In the second half, the Zebras played well, led by passionate play from Ali '13, Brenna '17, and Pennie '15 and scored the third goal of the afternoon to take a decisive 3-0 on the grass surface.
The Zebras are looking forward to getting back to their turf surface in preparation for Class B rival Brooks on Saturday.
