The Zebras took the field for their last regular season matchup against St. George's on Saturday, November 9 at 2:00pm.
Middlesex had more opportunities in the first stanza, but St. George's held the Zebras back, keeping the play mostly between the two 25-yard lines. Finally, the Zebras struck with 20:43 remaining in the half to take a 1-0 lead. Although Middlesex had 10 shots in the in the first half, they could not find the back of the net.
After the halftime break, the Zebras came out and executed a more crisp game plan. Their hard work paid off as Middlesex went on a scoring spree. Just 3 minutes and 11 seconds into the second half, the Zebras notched a goal and then followed with three more goals in the next 6 minutes and 46 seconds to take a decisive 5-0 lead. The Zebras completed the scoring with 11 minutes remaining to claim a 6-0 win over the Dragons.
The win was an entire team effort today, and the team will look forward to sharpening their skills as they enter postseason play next week.
