After a sluggish start, the Zebras came out on top of the Milton Mustangs in a 4-0 decisive victory.
Middlesex gained momentum in the first half, earning several penalty corners and opportunities; however, the team couldn't capitalize. Milton took only one shot in the first half leaving a scoreless game at the break.
After a few adjustments, the Zebras took the field in the second half, determined to break through the Milton defense. After seven minutes, Pennie '15 scored her first goal of the season off an assist from Cici '14 to open up the scoreboard. As the half progressed, the Zebras notched three more goals every seven minutes. Juliana '14, Beeko '14, Maddie '14, and Jenna '15 led the surge in the second half with hard work and gritty defense.
The Zebras will switch up their game plan as they face Lawrence Academy on their grass on Wednesday, October 2 at 2:30pm.
