On Wednesday, October 9 the Zebras traveled to Byfield, MA to face a talented Governor's field hockey squad.

The Zebras came out a bit sluggish in the first half  as they struggled to shake off their bus legs.  And although Middlesex outshot their opponent 5-2, they could not put the ball past the talented Governor's goalie in the first half.

  C Mills '15 notched the first goal for the Zebras halfway through the second half and Cici '14 found the back of the cage off a terrific effort by Ellie '16.  The stalwart midfield and defensive unit including Fehnel '16, Jenna '15, Katie '16, and Sage '17 prevented Govs from taking a shot on goalie Olson '15 in the second half. 

The team will continue their play on the road when they travel to Groton, MA to take on the other Zebras in the ISL at 2:00pm on Friday, October 11.
