St. Sebastian’s visited Middlesex this weekend and brought with them their size, numbers and a 4-0 record. We all knew this would be a test for the MX 11 and St. Sebastian’s wasted little time getting on the board. 

They scored on their first two possessions for a quick 14-0 lead.  MX answered on its third possession when Nick Andonian ‘13 connected with Nick Widen ’13 on a 47 yard touchdown pass and Brendon Canavan added the point after to cut the lead to 14-7.  St. Sebastian’s then went into high gear using their size and a bounding running game to put the game out of reach at the half 35-7. 

Throughout the game MX moved the ball on offense between the 20’s but were not able to capitalize on any of their drives until the beginning of the fourth quarter when Nick Andonian found Will Kreitler in the end zone for a 5 yard touchdown reception. Brendon Canavan again added the point after to end the scoring for the day at 42-14.
 
On the afternoon, QB Nick Andonian threw the ball for 276 yards, taking him over the 1000 yard mark for the season, with 1231 yards.  The next game will be at Thayer on Saturday, October 27^th.
