Terrell Hollins, an experienced program developer, begins his first season as the head boys basketball coach in 2026-27.
Hollins spent the last six seasons as the boys head coach at nearby Concord Academy, arrived at Middlesex with an impressive resume of player development and team success.
He guided the crosstown Chameleons to one of the best stretches in school history, including an Eastern Independent League (EIL) tournament championship in 2024-25 and a return trip to the finals this past season.
Hollins is extremely familiar with the Independent School League (ISL), having spent three seasons on the sidelines at Rivers School as an assistant coach and head junior varsity coach.
In addition to his prep coaching experience, Hollins spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Brandeis University and another year on the bench at Suffolk University.
Hollins also has extensive experience on the grassroots basketball circuit serving as a head coach for the Middlesex Magic, widely regarded as the best club basketball program in New England.
He is also the co-founder of three separate basketball-centered ventures, serving as the Director of Operations at Boston Elite Sports Training and the Boston chapter of the National Hoops Academy Foundation. He, along with a few other area coaches, launched the Summer Draft League in 2024 which has quickly become the premier summer basketball experience for middle school players.
A former four-year letterwinner at Brandeis University, Hollins was a two-time All-UAA selection and helped lead the Judges to four straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, including a pair of Elite Eight berths (2008, 2010). In 103 career contests, Hollins finished with 1,191 points and 786 rebounds.
