Since 2019, Phil has worked at The Steppingstone Foundation in Boston, where he started out as a support services advisor for 150 junior high school students and families. Most recently, he has served as the director of middle school success, leading the planning and implementation of college readiness curriculum and activities for 300 students and families. Previously a youth development counselor at the Boys and Girls Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Phil worked with children and teens for eight years, organizing programs to enhance their academic and social development. He earned his B.A. in Spanish and French along with a minor in communication at Merrimack College.
