With diverse and extensive experience at the middle, secondary, and college levels, Mandy came to Middlesex from Cardigan Mountain School where she was co-director of the School’s New Teacher Program, taught freshman biology, lived in a dorm, and coached rock climbing and Nordic skiing. Previously, Mandy served on the faculties of Deerfield Academy, Boston’s Newman School, and United World College in Montezuma, New Mexico. A graduate of Colorado Rocky Mountain School, she earned a B.A. in environmental studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder; while earning her M.Ed. at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education, she mentored undergraduate and graduate student teachers and was a teaching assistant for an ecology course.Â
