Kevin came to Middlesex from New Hampton School, where he taught math, supervised a dorm, and coached boys' soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse. Having grown up on the campus of Phillips Exeter Academy, he was a four-year day student there before attending Dartmouth College, where he played soccer and lacrosse for one year before focusing solely on lacrosse. Kevin went on to earn a B.A. in mathematics with a minor in business administration from the University of New Hampshire. He became an assistant lacrosse coach at UNH while completing his degree and went on to coach with Northeastern University's lacrosse program, as well as with the hockey and lacrosse programs at the Groton School.Â
