Bob FitzPatrick

Bob comes to Middlesex with over 40 years of teaching and coaching experience in public education and has initiated numerous school and club programs in Nordic Skiing. He received his B.S. in Education from UCONN and M.S. in Education from Emporia State University.  Coach FitzPatrick has coached at all levels from Bill Koch League youngsters up through post graduate high school athletes. He is an award-winning coach and teacher, has conducted over 140 educational and coaching workshops, and has authored numerous publications and articles on Nordic Skiing and Fitness. Many of his former skiers have achieved NE Junior Olympic Status, NCAA Division I Skiing status and positions in the ski coaching world.

Bob Has been recognized by USSA (US Ski and Snowboard), The Bureau of Education and Research, and recently inducted into the Hall of Honor for Emporia State University for his work in the teaching and coaching professions. He has held numerous leadership positions for USSA (NE Nordic Ski Association), SHAPE America, and Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Presently, Coach FitzPatrick is an adjunct professor for Emporia State University’s Graduate program. 

Bob is passionate about introducing Middlesex student-athletes to this life-long sport, either as a primary sport, or as a complementary sport.
