A globally minded educator and diversity practitioner, Starry has worked at St. Mark’s School, where she served as the associate director of community and equity affairs and an assistant director of admission, as well as the international student advisor and the faculty advisor for the Asian Student Alliance. Previously, Starry taught English as a Second Language in Hong Kong for five years, earning an M.A. in applied linguistics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong during that time. She also holds a B.Ed. from The Education University of Hong Kong and a M.Ed. from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
