ASHBURNHAM, Mass. - The Middlesex offense continued to sizzle and the visiting Zebras delivered a 5-0 shutout of host Cushing Academy on Wednesday evening.

The Penguins presented an abundance of threat down their left side, as Cris Bakueti and Ky-Mani Velez-Boggis were a dynamic handful to contain.

They were matched by strong defensive performances from sophomore Chris De Morais (Wakefield, Mass.), senior Theo Moore (Louisville, Ky.), and junior Will McCarthy (Concord, Mass.).

Man-of-the-match honors go to junior Noah Helfgott (London, England), who bagged his first two goals to go along with two assists. Adriano Valmora (Montreal, Quebec) was the chief creator for Middlesex, assisting on McCarthy's header and Helfgott's second tally.

Junior dynamo Billy Zuze (Balantyre, Malawi) showed up all over the field and added a goal and an assist to his season tally. Matt Oh (Cresskill, N.J.) was also a consistent threat, coming close to scoring on a few opportunities before unleashing a knuckling ball into the top corner from the top of the box.

Middlesex controlled possession for the last 30 minutes as Cushing continued to press for a goal of their own. That was not to be, as Noah Browne (Kingston, Jamaica) and Sander Krause (Wellesley, Mass.) combined for the visitors' shutout.
