CONCORD, Mass. - Middlesex bounced back from their first loss in over a month with a convincing 6-1 win over Buckingham, Browne and Nichols on Saturday afternoon in ISL boys tennis action.

The win for the Zebras is their eighth in the last nine matches and pushes their overall record to an impressive 12-3.

Middlesex got the ball rolling as they swept through the doubles matches as Lach McCaghren (Lincoln, Mass.) and Luke Felago (Duxbury, Mass.) breezed to an 8-3 win at No. 1 and Declan Power (Concord, Mass.) and Freddy Murphy (London, England) posted an 8-6 win at No. 2.

At No. 3, meanwhile, Calvin Sun (Repulse Bay, Hong Kong) and Drake Gallien (Bangkok, Thailand) needed a tiebreaker 8-7 (7-5) to secure the sweep.

Singles action was mostly all Middlesex as well with McCaghren at No. 1 facing very little resistance (6-2, 6-3) and the same was the case for Power at No. 2 (6-1, 6-3).

Murphy, meanwhile, has continued his strong play as of late, rolling to a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at No. 4 and Gallien won at No. 6, 8-2.

Felago secured the win at No. 3 but it was a battle. After winning the first set, 6-4, he dropped the second, 6-1 before rallying to win the third, 10-6.

Middlesex is back in action on Wednesday when they visit Brooks for a 2:30 PM first serve in North Andover.
