BELMONT, Mass. - Grace-Ann Bailey (Kingston, Jamaica) defended her crown in the high jump, becoming a back-to-back champion in the high jump as Middlesex finished seventh at the Independent School League (ISL) track and field championships on Sunday afternoon.
Milton Academy (153) ran away with the team title and was followed by Thayer Academy (78), Governor's (77), Saint George's (51), Groton (34), Noble and Greenough (33) and then the Zebras (24).
Bailey, who won the individual title in the high jump in 2025 with a leap of 5-6, cleared 5-4 becoming the first repeat winner in this event at the ISL championship since meet record holder Emma Fitzgerald of Thayer Academy won in 2015 and 2016.
She then advanced to the finals of the 100 meter dash where she finished sixth (13.54).
Cassidy Bruno (Andover, Mass.) recorded a second place finish in the 800 meter run (2:20.91), while teammate Nadia Abdinoor (Lexington, Mass.) was ninth (2:28.82).
Freshman standout Jude Hebb (Princeton, Mass.) continues to impress in her inaugural season, finishing fourth in the 3000 meter run (11:13.19).
Middlesex wraps up its season on Saturday when they travel to Governor's Academy for the NEPSTA Division II Championships.
