CONCORD, Mass. - Middlesex returned to ISL play and promptly extended its winning streak to six straight matches with a 6-1 win over Saint Sebastian's on Wednesday afternoon.
Things got off and running with relative ease for the host Zebras as they cruised through the doubles matches with the No. 1 duo of Lach McCaghren (Lincoln, Mass.) and Luke Felago (Duxbury, Mass.) rolling to an 8-0 victory while the No. 2 tandem of Declan Power (Concord, Mass.) and Freddy Murphy (London, England) breezed to an 8-1 win. Middlesex swept the doubles portion of the match when JJ Zhang (Dubai, UAE) and Clement Chang (Arlington, Mass.) topped their opponents at No. 3, 8-3.
The Arrows provided little resistance at the top of the singles ladder with McCaghren (No. 1), Power (No. 2) and Felago (No. 3) all strolling to 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Middlesex wraps up their second straight three match week with a road trip to Groton on Saturday.Â
