CONCORD, Mass. - Middlesex swept its season series with crosstown rival, Concord Academy, posting a 4-0 win over the Chameleons on Monday afternoon.
The win for the Zebras extends their current winning streak to five straight matches and their overall record bumps up to 9-2.
Milo Schubnel (Concord, Mass.) and Calvin Sun (Repulse Bay, Hong Kong) teamed up at No. 2 doubles to get the afternoon started with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph while Drake Gallien (Bangkok, Thailand) joined forces with Freddy Murphy (London, England) at No. 1 where they dropped the first set 6-2, but rallied to win the second (6-0) and third (10-6) sets.
Middlesex then swept the three singles matches with Declan Power (Concord, Mass.) leading the way from the No. 2 spot where he cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win, while Luke Felago (Duxbury, Mass.) delivered a similar performance at No. 3 (6-3, 6-1).
The Zebras hop back into league play with a home match against Saint Sebastian's on Wednesday.
