CONCORD, Mass. - Middlesex faced little resistance on their way to their second straight win - this one a 7-0 victory over ISL rival Rivers on Tuesday afternoon.
Lach McCaghren (Lincoln, Mass.) and Luke Felago (Duxbury, Mass.) kicked things off with an easy 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while Drake Gallien (Bangkok, Thailand) and Freddy Murphy (London, England) also won 8-1 at No. 3.
Declan Power (Concord, Mass.) and Calvin Sun (Repulse Bay, Hong Kong) then gave MX the clean doubles sweep with their 8-4 win at No. 2.
The singles matches continued in that fashion with McCaghren notching a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1, Power breezing to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2 and Felago going 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3.
Murphy (6-0, 6-1) at No. 4 and Gallien at No. 5 (6-1, 6-1) helped secure the win.Â
