CONCORD, Mass. - Host Middlesex ran into one of the league's most formidable programs on Saturday afternoon and visiting Thayer posted a 7-1 decision over the Zebras in ISL girls tennis action.
Middlesex's lone point came at No. 3 doubles where
Annie Vanderwarker (Bronxville, N.Y.) and
Emily Francini (Concord, Mass.) topped Claire Harris and Katie McCarthy, 8-6.
Thayer, who opened the season with five straight wins before falling to Groton on Wednesday, returns to action on Wednesday when they host Milton Academy.
The Zebras, meanwhile, had their three match winning streak come to an end and they now sit at 3-2 and will kickoff a brief two match homestand beginning with an ISL showdown with Lawrence Academy.
