DEDHAM, Mass. - Host Noble & Greenough won a pair of doubles matches on their way to a 5-2 triumph over Middlesex in ISL boys tennis action on Saturday afternoon.

The loss for the Zebras is their first of the season after winning their first four matches.

Tim Zhao (Zhuhai, Guangdong, China) and Declan Power (Concord, Mass.) teamed up to win 8-4 at No. 3 singles for MX but with the Bulldogs winning the other two matches, they secured the doubles point.

In singles action, Calvin Sun (Repulse Bay, Hong Kong) collected a win at No. 6 singles with a 6-3, 6-1 verdict over Deniz Unal, and Drake Gallien (Bangkok, Thailand) secured a wild 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 victory over Eric Van Otterloo at No. 4.

Power, meanwhile, was locked in a marathon three set affair with Tony Wu at No. 2. After dropping a tight first set, 7-5, he rallied and won the second set in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (10-8) but Wu prevailed in the third, 10-8.

Middlesex returns to action on Wednesday with a tough battle against Milton Academy.
