MILTON, Mass. - Middlesex opened up its 2026 campaign with a bang, collecting two wins over ISL opponents on a brisk Wednesday afternoon at the famed Wollaston Golf Club.

The Zebras topped host Thayer Academy 5.5-1.5 and Saint Mark's, 6-1.

Lucy Wang (Diamond Bar, Calif.) shined in the No. 1 spot, besting Thayer by one stroke and St. Marks by five. 

Pink Ye (Brisbane, Australia), playing in her first competition with the program, bested her St. Mark's competitor in the No. 7 spot by five strokes and lost a very close match to Thayer. 

Meanwhile, at No. 2, Ian King (Fairfield, Conn.) topped his Thayer opponent by three strokes and then battled back to earn a tie against St. Mark's.

Other highlights included Howard Liu (Shanghai, China), who beat both players at No. 6 by four strokes and Tiger Wu (Great Neck, N.Y.), who won both matches, while both Robert Sou (Shanghai, China) and Olivia Zhang (Vancouver, British Columbia) battled back and forth with their competitors to win both of their matches. 

Middlesex is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Ould Newbury Golf Course for a tri-match against the Governor's Academy and St. George's.
