CONCORD, Mass. - Host Middlesex erupted offensively and six different players found the back of the net in a 9-0 win over ISL foe Governor's Academy on Wednesday.

The Zebras wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as Matt Oh (Cresskill, N.J.) put MX up 1-0 in the match's second minute. That was followed by tallies from Adriana Valmora (Montreal, Quebec) and Billy Zuze (Blantyre, Malawi).

Noah Helfgott (London, England) got in on the scoring in the 27th minute and then Zuze added another and Chris De Morais (Wakefield, Mass.) tacked on another before the half ended.

Helfgott completed the hat trick with a pair of strikes in the first ten minutes of the second half as the starters exited early.

Scoring was capped by Long Nguyen (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) who buried a chance into the far side net with his left foot in the 73rd minute.

Governor's Academy was persistent in finding their danger men on the right and left flank, as Jacob Zhang and Izaiah Williams were consistently the best source of attack. However, Will McCarthy (Concord, Mass.)  and De Morais did a great job of preserving the clean sheet for Middlesex.

In addition to his hat trick, Helfgott added an assist, while Valmora wound up with one goal and three assists and Zuze finished with two goals and one assist. Governor's brought a competitive spirit to the match and battled to the final whistle.
