The Zebras played an outstanding first half against Brooks with several defensive stops and three goals from Addie Curry and Finley Crosby. Heading into the second half with a score of 4-3, the Zebras notched the tying goal to make it 4-4. However, Brooks capitalized on missed Zebra shots and a few defensive misses late in the third quater and they took a 8-4 lead to close out the third quarter. While Middlesex again scored first in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to slow the Brooks' momentum. As the quarter winded down, the Zebras were forced to come out on defensive, leaving the 8 meter area vulnerable. Finley Crosby notched 5 goals and 5 contested ground balls for the Zebras and goalie Lily McTeague made 12 saves for the Zebras. Cate Glass had a team high 3 caused turnovers.
