The Zebras came off the bus a bit flat Wednesday afternoon and fell to a 6-1 deficit in the first quarter. With a complete reboot in the second quarter, Middlesex and Thayer played an even game, each scoring 3 goals. The third was much of the same with another 3-4 battle and finally, a 3-3 game in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, the deficit from the first quarter was too much to make up and the game ended 16-10 in Thayer's favor. Freshman Taylor Thompson scored her first Middlesex career goal in the fourth quarter and freshmen Tessa Rusconi and Cady White made their debut in the defensive end. Finley Crosby was exceptional at both ends of the field and Crosby, Addie Curry, Cate Glass, and Annika McNulty all added points in the offensive end. The team will look to reboot and finally come home to play on Saturday against St. George's.
