Baseball Trip focuses on Leadership Development and Community Impact 4/21/2025 9:01:00 AM This year the baseball team went on a spring training trip to Orlando, Florida. The team was broken up into groups with our four captains as leaders. Staying all in one big house, captains and their teams were responsible for shopping and making breakfast each morning. We also competed in an Escape the Room challenge to help us learn how to work together as a team and develop leadership skills. As with any trip we take, we wanted to make a small connection with the local community. Our seniors served lunch for over 300 people at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and we hope to continue the relationship with that organization on future trips. We went 1 and 1 in the games we played, losing 8-3 to a talented Osceola High squad and then winning 7-4 over Lake Highland Prep. And, of course we went to Universal Studios!  Print Friendly Version
