The Middlesex Boys Varsity Tennis team braved the cold away at Tabor on Wednesday to post a decisive 7-0 victory. The boys got off to a fast start, sweeping doubles with juniors Lach McCaghren and Fred Murphy prevailing 8-2, senior captain Hudson Hinckley and junior Luke Felago winning 8-1, and sophomores Declan Power and Tim Zhao victorious 8-2.Â
The Zebras continued their strong singles play against a game Tabor side, sweeping all 6 matches. Highlights included #2 Declan Power winning his second straight match without dropping a game and Hudson Hinckley digging deep to win the second set in a tie breaker  6-2, 6-7, (10-5).
The team will play its second match in as many days at Governor's on Thursday, then will host Nobles on Saturday in what should be one of the matches of the year between two powerhouse teams. Come out to cheer on the Zebras  if you have a chance! Â
