Middlesex hosted AA competitor Austin Prep in a tight game that came down to the final minute. It was a back-and-forth contest in the first half, with each team making runs, and Middlesex was up 3 points going into halftime. The Zebras struggled to score in the third quarter, going down by as much as 11, but they battled back in the fourth to bring it within two points with less than 30 seconds on the clock. A questionable call sent AP to the line, and as the clock ran down, Middlesex wasn't able to pull out the win, ultimately falling to Austin Prep 49-54. Freshman Cady White had a standout defensive performance against AP's starting center. Seniors Alyssa Aslam and Julia Blum were threats on both ends of the court. Middlesex closes out their season next weekend with a matchup again school rival St. George's.
