BYFIELD, Mass. - Governor's hosted Middlesex for a midweek October tilt that appeared more one-sided than it was in the first half.

The hosts had strong contributions from Gordon Guo in the midfield and John St. Phard up top. Dylan Nagra did a nice job of scooping up any through balls that angled into his penalty area.

Middlesex scored first half goals through Will McCarthy '28, Adriano Valmora '28, Bryan Mayhew '26 and Long Nguyen '27.

For Governor's, St. Phard jumped on a loose clearance and beat three defenders with a fantastic solo move and buried the ball into the net in the 25th minute and home team played hard and competed to the end.

Mayhew and Valmora both completed hat tricks early in the second half and bench contributions came from Kai Raczkowski '27 and Sam Foster '27 in the last half hour for Middlesex.
