GROTON, Mass. - Stella Curwin-Amfitheatrof and the rest of the Middlesex girls cross country team continued the outstanding start to their 2025 season as they picked up two more victories to improve to 6-0 on Friday, October 10.
Wins over the host Zebras (Groton) and Lawrence Academy were highlighted by Curwin-Amfitheatrof's third straight first place finish this season, this time in a season-best time of 19:12.
Joining her in the top five from Middlesex were standouts Cassidy Bruno in third (20:16) and
Jude Hebb (20:18) in fourth place.
Cate Corbett turned in a seventh place performance in a time of 21:15, while four other runners traversed the layout in similar times, giving Middlesex eight of the top 13 finishers.Â
Katie Tantillo was tenth in 21:42, while
Angela Huffer was right on her heels at 21:43 and then
Anika Ata was in 12th place at 21:54 and she was closely followed by
Pipsa Palatsi at 21:56.
Middlesex is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Milton to face the host Mustangs and Nobles at Cunningham Park.
