Middlesex Girls' Cross Country opened the season with a 21-36 win against Nobles and a 20-41 win against Milton. Stella Curwin-Amfitheatrof, Cassidy Bruno, and Catherine Bain ran to the front from the start, taking the top three places behind Milton's Esme Campbell. Anika Ata and Maggie Smith finished next for Middlesex in 8th and 9th, followed by Pipsa Palatsi (11th), Katie Tantillo (15th), Angela Huffer (19th), and Allison Luo (26th).

Sue Hayashi, Marvelous Ugwu, Kassie Schaeberle, Charlotte Freidman, and Jessica Wu all had particularly strong races for Middlesex in the JV race. 

The team looks forward to competing against St. Mark's, BBN, and Lawrence Academy at St. Mark's next Saturday.
