Led by Katie Athanasoulas and Ellie Bracken, Middlesex took on a very talented Nobles squad. While the team was beat on paper, they showed up with full hearts and ready to compete. Seniors Athanasoulas, Berardinelli, and Taylor combined for many contested ground balls and Athanasoulas earned three causes turnovers including two interceptions in the defensive end. Ninth grader Ellie Bracken put the Zebras on the board with 2 goals, one fed by Cate Glass. While the chips seemed to be lined up against the Zebras today, we couldn't be more proud of how this team remained poised and positive throughout adversity. Injured players Esme Coes, Finley Crosby, and Katie Mullowney have been instrumental in helping the team moral despite season-ending injuries that have sidelined them.
